Review for KultureCity, Vestavia Hills, AL, USA
KultureCity is a wonderful nonprofit that really keeps our special needs kids at the heart of their mission. My son has been able to experience so many things he wouldn’t have thanks to their inclusion and acceptance. Through KultureCity we’ve had the gift of developing his voice, nothing is more special than hearing your child tell you they love you, and without KultureCity I’m not sure that would have ever happened. We have also experienced zoos, stadiums, been able to cruise, and so much more thanks to their sensory training and equipment at the large venues and places throughout the world. They have made so many “nevers” possible for our family and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this amazing non profit.
Review for KultureCity, Vestavia Hills, AL, USA
KultureCity City is an AMAZING non profit, not only are they spreading awareness and acceptance, putting sensory friendly centers in big stadiums and family attractions so we we can enjoy them with our kids on the spectrum, they have also given our children a voice, one iPad at a time. About 6 years ago KultureCity teamed up with Toys AUcross America to help parents of Autistic children raise funds to get an iPad to aide in speech therapy and development. Through that fundraiser we were able to get my sons iPad and get him started on his path to developing his voice. My son, Jaxon, went from hardly having any words to developing his speech enough to not only have every day conversation, but developing his voice enough to get pulled on stage and sing with his favorite singer, Machine Gun Kelly in front of a sold out crowd. Without KultureCity and their help in developing his voice this night may have never happened. Every child deserves a voice, and every parent deserves to hear it.
