I’ve been sponsoring a smart, curious and caring child for almost three years. On the flight home from a trip to Cambodia in 2019, I made a commitment to find the best way possible to help a child build a better future in Cambodia. I found my answer in CCF. Through a lot of research, I learned that CCF is exceptionally run, committed to transparency and has a proven track record of positively impacting lives. It’s also an organization with vision and heart and an ethos that resonates with me.

Sponsorship gives me the opportunity to help support the well-being of a community in addition to the incredible chance to develop a one-on-one relationship with a child. I’m impressed with CCF’s holistic approach to creating a pathway out of poverty through education, which also includes tackling the barriers that keep children from attending and staying in school: nutrition, healthcare, housing and a supportive and safe environment.

With each communication from the child whom I sponsor, I see how she’s growing, becoming more confident and coming into her own as an individual under the care of CCF. The CCF teams in Phnom Penh and the U.S. are exceptional. Every person that I have the pleasure to interact with is professional, responsive, kind and passionately driven to improving lives in Cambodia. Being part of the CCF community has become an integral part of my life.
