WGEF is an amazing organization that genuinely impacts the lives of every woman it serves. Its comprehensive programming in Uganda takes a holistic approach to empower women and looks at all factors affecting a woman's ability to be a successful leader. I had the opportunity to intern with WGEF and saw each day the hard work that Karen puts into this organization and its success.

WGEF is a fantastic non-profit that makes a massive impact on the lives of women in Uganda. The organization targets the root causes of inequalities by providing education, essential resources, microfinance loans, and leadership training to women. WGEF plays a critical role in uplifting and amplifying the voices of women. As a former intern for WGEF, I had the pleasure of working under the founder, Karen Sugar, and I continue to be inspired by her passion, commitment, and innovation.
