A while back I saw a Facebook post that Anthony was one of the worst cities to live in, and unfortunately, I agreed which is why the second I got a job offer somewhere else, I left. Unemployment is high, so is crime that is both reported and unreported, we have a community that knows who the thieves are but don't speak up because they are afraid they will come after them next. It's not a united city and not only is it upsetting I see nothing changing with those current leaders in charge. I'm glad I left but the one place I will miss is the Women's Intercultural Center.

The Center was the best part about living in Anthony. I loved the classes, I loved the people, and whenever I needed help or knew someone that did, the center was the place to go. I had the courage to demand a raise at my job which led to an even better opportunity because of the time I had at the center. The center made me a stronger person and taught me to take my life to the next level.

Thank you for helping me get out of that city and thank you for all the memories. I moved to Dallas with a huge jump in pay and my life has been forever changed. Your volunteers inspired me especially Mary and Saif. You all are wonderful people and that city takes you foregranted. You all should close and move here to Dallas, we would love you and take you in.
