My family has supported many non-profits throughout the years, and Empowerment International remains the one we continue to support the most. We have donated to them for over 10-years now and we're always so impressed with how much they are able to do with such a small budget. I wish more people knew about them. There is such a need in Nicaragua and the organization is so well run that for a modest donation you can have a huge impact a child's life.

A few years ago we visited the education center in Granada. The staff was absolutely amazing. It was clear that they were very dedicated to the work they were doing, but just as importantly it was obvious just how much compassion they had for the kids and families that were in the program. In the future, my wife and I are looking forward to visiting more.

We donate to over 20 charities for a total of more than $20k/year. Empowerment International has been our favorite charity, and the one that receives our largest donations, for a long time. We've met with Kathy, their director a number of times in person, and have visited their facilities in Nicaragua. They are extremely well run. Very trim, and we feel great that so much of what we donate goes directly towards helping the kids. There's much less administrative overhead here than with so many other organizations. Plus the work they do is so very hands-on that you know they are doing things the most impactful way. We've encouraged many of our friends to donate, and I would unequivocally recommend to anyone else to support this amazing organization.
