I was under 10 whenI saw my first live elephant. A small group passed through our town with rides shows and one elephant to give short rides. As I got older I realized how unfair and cruel it was. When I heard about the Elephant Sanctuary I was so happy. I follow their post, signed up for emails and contribute to fund raisers. I love how they treat the elephants make their last years as they were meant to be, roaming large areas, eating good food, soaking in ponds and receiving medical care and a great staff caring for them. My heart runneth over watching videos of a new elephant at the sanctuary as they hear a elephant they recognize, and the reunion between them. Thank you all for everything you do.
