I have been a donor with Himalayan Children's Fund for 3 years now. I also had the opportunity to visit the SMD Boarding School in Kathmandu, Nepal and see firsthand the wonderful work they are doing there. This is an amazing nonprofit that supports the education of some of the world's most underserved children, who mostly come from remote mountain villages. You can make a one time donation or, even better, sponsor a student for the year and receive letters from them. I highly recommend this as a charity that does good work on the world!
