Review for MEXICO MEDICAL MISSIONS, Houston, TX, USA
Mexico Medical Missions serves Mexico’s poorest people in the remote Sierra Madres of Mexico – the Tarahumara indigenous group. MMM primarily serves through a 20+ bed, 2 surgical suite hospital in Samachique Mexico – where they see over 5000 patients per year. The hospital is made up of Mexican nationals, Tarahumara, and some US volunteers; all are committed to daily providing the highest quality of medical care to the Tarahumara, free of charge. In addition to excellent healthcare through the hospital, MMM sponsors agricultural, well drilling, and literacy programs. The Mission is committed to supporting and helping to maintain the uniqueness of the Tarahumara culture, while also serving their many needs. I have been impressed with the quality, humility, and relentless pursuit of service, that each member of MMM displays.
