So many people overlook elephants, but The Elephant Sanctuary goes above and beyond caring for these Gentle Giants, ofttimes in incredibly intimate ways, so they can be healed physically and mentally from their lifelong abuse, and live free and happy as elephants. I donate out of my love for elephants, and I donate to The Elephant Sanctuary out of my respect for everything they stand for. Every purchase I make through Amazon Smile (and I purchase on Amazon Smile A LOT!) remits a percentage to The Elephant Sanctuary. If I wasn't such an old woman, I would love to take the trip to volunteer there, but alas those days are over for me. I pray God will continue to bless the Sanctuary, the workers, the volunteers and the community in their noble, loving and ongoing commitment.
