I went to school with Diane. I learned of her daughter's battle with cancer and her passing at our highschool reunion. A few years later, I hosted a potluck with a fundraiser for her wonderful charity. It was the first time I had done anything of the sort. It was Arielle's wishes that every child with cancer and their families be supported finacially, and to find cures of course! Every year since then, I have been at least a little involved. Diane's passion for this cause and in the memory of her beautiful daughter is commendable and simply selfless. One of the benefit events I attended for her charity, we met the bravest, most polite, well-spoken, smartest, cutest funny young man and his mom - who were recipients of this particular fund raiser. This was rewarding for everyone involved to witness the gratitude they had. I cried, happy tears. Keep up the great work, Diane and team! See you at the next event. I'll be there to support! XO
