Food & Water Watch is a great organization that is amazing at what they do. They organize everyday people into taking effective action to protect the environment. In my few years of being a volunteer there have been so many important victories that show members that they have an important individual impact when working together. A day or dollar spent helping Food & Water search is never one wasted.

Food and Water Action is the more electoral/political side of the great organization Food and Water Watch. They do great work to help elect environmental oriented candidates. I have done letter writing and phone banking with them, and I always feel like my time was well used.

I have been a volunteer with Food and Water Watch in my area for almost 5 years now. They are a great organization that helps regular people take action against and win against the fossil fuel industry which is wrecking our environment. Their leadership and organizers really put in the work to stay in touch, and to help develop individuals to be the most effective with the time they have to offer. I would highly recommend Food and Water Watch to anyone concerned about climate change but doesn’t know where to begin.

Food and Water Watch is an amazing nonprofit. every environmental event/action you go to you will see at least one member if not most of their members. A strong organization who definitively knows what their purpose is and how to fulfill it. They build the infrastructure required to help keep the movement going from fight to fight, adding more dedicated members from one to the next. In New York where I am, they have been an instrumental part of coalitions to defeat new environmentally hazardous fossil fuel projects, as well as pushing for legislation to make us more energy efficient.
