Review for Uplands Peak Sanctuary Inc, Freedom, IN, USA
My experience with Uplands PEAK Sanctuary is that they are kind and compassionate with the animals that they have rescued and care for. The founders have dedicated their lives to helping abused and neglected farm animals. Running a farm animal sanctuary is hard work, but the founders don't seem to be afraid of hard work. I'm impressed with all that they do. The animals are living a life free of pain and suffering at Uplands PEAK Sanctuary. The life that they deserve.
Review for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, Norfolk, VA, USA
I have volunteered for PETA and donated for years. I also have them listed in my will. They are great because there is no animal that they won't help. They have assisted me many times when I have encountered injured wild animals. They are determined to protect all animals and do everything within their power to get laws changed and to make sure animal abusers are caught and punished. I have donated to other animal related nonprofits, but stopped because they seemed to care more about paying their CEO's massive amounts of money, and publicity than helping animals. PETA is the most caring and compassionate organization when it comes to animals that I know of. PETA is the reason that I went from vegetarian to vegan. I became vegetarian after reading Alicia Silverstone's "A Kind Diet" book, but after seeing some of PETA's campaigns, I switch to being vegan. I truly admire them and all of the volunteers and appreciate all that they do.
