The Life Skills Program is the cornerstone of SSI’s work in youth empowerment. This program equips young people with essential tools and knowledge to navigate life’s challenges, from decision-making and problem-solving to communication and leadership. SSI’s approach goes beyond traditional education, offering hands-on, interactive learning experiences that build self-confidence and resilience.

Through workshops, mentorship, and peer support, young participants learn how to manage their emotions, set goals, and make informed choices about their health, relationships, and future careers. The Life Skills program empowers youth to become self-sufficient, responsible, and proactive members of society, enabling them to break free from the cycles of poverty and disadvantage.

Very grateful to be a volunteer at Stepping Stones International. I am in love with their Youth Spot Mobile Application that enables Youth to have access to mental health information, access information on HIV. Through the application youth can track their moods and schedule their appointments.

The way they deal with orphaned and vulnerable children in Botswana is amazing, they go an extra mile to deal with issues of child protection.
