United Christian Ministries of Jackson County does a wonderful job of making clients feel valued and loved. Personal requests are met whenever possible and individual needs are considered. We do not use the “one size fits all” method of serving those who come to UCM. Each individual is of value and is treated that way. Volunteers go out of their way to be kind and considerate knowing that each client has a need, no matter how small, that can be met. If we are unable to respond to their request, we try to refer them to someone who can. We still try to meet any other need they may express and we share what we can with them, especially food, and do so with love.
