Community cat Coalition has helped me tremendously over the last number of years. We have a small colony of cats in our street and they have helped me get three males and a female neutered so far. They lent us traps and told us how to drop them and we got them. It wasn't done until after the female had a litter of kittens so there are no four kittens that are arranged to be neutered next week. With that all of the Cats homed and unhoned in our little cold as sac will be fixed. They're friendly, they have access to food and water year-round, and they have shelter but they won't be reproducing. It's all thanks to community cat Coalition that that is the case. I highly recommend working with them.

The CCC person helped a person rescue Sally, a 10-year-old orange tabby about to be put down for treatable medical issues, listed her on Petfinder, and gave her to us almost four years ago. Since then, I have worked with the staff on two possible adoptions. One didn't work for us and our current cats, the other we fostered for several months. Emma was a black semi-feral kitty who was TNR 10 year prior. She came to us to live in our catio until socialization allowed her to trust she was safe with people. She needed to be an only cat so we could not adopt her. Emma went to a loving home as a cat who loved attention and scratches and felt safe with an indoor environment. Total win-win. CCC was supportive and helpful in that process, including many phone calls, loans of cameras, and long drives multiple times to assist. I was also able to assist a low-income person with unexpected kittens to spay/neuter the entire bunch through CCC. CCC is fabulous! I am in the next county, but at least donate every month to support their great work.

CCC helped a rescuer find a home for 10 year old Sally by listing Sally on Petfinder after giving her medical attention and support. The previous owner was going to have her put down due to medical issues that in hindsight, appeared to be caused at least by the owner's treatment of Sally. Sally does have a chronic medical condition, but it is much improved with good care. We have had her for 3 years so far and Sally turned out to be the most loving, gregarious cat we have ever had. CCC also contacted us about fostering a semi-feral older cat, Emma, who we had for 9 weeks for socialization. Emma did not get along with other cats very well, so we were not able to adopt her, but the CCC rescuer was wonderful to work with, gave support above and beyond expectations, allowing Emma to find a permanent home that is perfect for her. I would recommend CCC to EVERYONE!
