Our "Starosts V Radost. Kostroma" Charitable Foundation helps the elderly and disabled people in Kostroma and for several years we have been working together with the young people from Orphan’s Tree Russia organization. Together, we’ve been visiting nursing homes, providing important assistance to elderly people in difficult life situations. Guys usually help lonely old people with minor repairs, while girls do the cleaning, help with garden work and other chores, teach interesting master classes and organize holiday programs, make friendships and give gifts. IN the last several years, together, we have made and handed over about 10,000 gifts to the lonely senior and disabled people.

It’s great when like-minded people join forces to help the needy and we’re grateful to Orphan’s Tree program participants and staff for their participation and look forward to further working together.
