I’ve been so fortunate to work with Shanti Bhavan as a high school intern. It was an invaluable experience to write detailed blog posts, create engaging social media graphics, and even database management. Not only was I able to explore my interests of art, writing, advocacy/current affairs, I was so fulfilled knowing that whatever I was tasked with works towards such a noble and dear goal to my heart: breaking India’s generational cycle of poverty. As an intern, SB provided the foundation for me to learn networking and professional development skills so I can better face the world with my love for social change. The SB team has been nothing but helpful, kind, and sincere, and I was honored to work under their guidance. I hope to rejoin the team as soon as I can, and I’m grateful to Shanti Bhavan for everything.
