I have been providing care-calls for an individual within the Westchester Jewish Community Services for over a year now. The WJCS staff has been extremely communicative, welcoming, and accommodating towards me throughout my journey in connecting with my care-call buddy. A goal of ours throughout our care calls is to assist the individual in his aspiration of learning sign language and receiving a certification. I was new to sign-language and the WCJS community has made the process easy by providing me with ample resources and support to maximize both the experience of everyone involved. I hope to be involved as a volunteer in WCJS for years to come!
