IMAlive is a fantastic organization dedicated to selflessly helping others in crisis. I've been a volunteer for 2+ years, and although I never feel that I'm doing that great of a job helping the people that I chat with, I come back every week to try to improve my active listening skills, hoping to make some sort of a positive difference. The supervisors are a different breed of people; they are all super awesome, empathetic, and always ready to offer help and stellar advice when necessary. In today's unsettling climate, IMAlive is a necessary online platform, offering hope to those who desperately need it.
