The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ohio Valley is an amazing organization! I have experienced their mission first hand as a health care partner, a volunteer and a board member. For the past 11 years, the Ronald McDonald House on Washington Avenue has served many families keeping true to their mission of keeping families close. Being a clinician in the NICU, I see first hand how impactful having a clean, safe place to stay is for families. It lessens the burden of the situation they are dealing with so they can focus on being with their child. As a volunteer, I see families come together and form a community of support for one another. Some have built life long friendships and bonds. Being a board member of this amazing charity is such an honor. I was able to see a second RMHC house in Evansville come to reality in 2019. This has expanded the amount of families the charity can help. I can't say enough great things about this charity and I'm proud to support such a great mission!
