I have found San Diego Dance Theater at the forefront of creating possibilities for emerging artists like myself with a platform to foster dance performance and choreography. By providing dance classes, summer workshops, master classes, and opportunities to both perform and show new pieces of choreographic work, San Diego Dance Theater is nurturing and shaping future dance artists and dance makers of our community. I am grateful for the opportunities and programming that San Diego Dance Theater has been able to provide me to enhance my dance career.

I am grateful to have been a Trolley Dancer for several years and to have the opportunity to work with different choreographers from our region and beyond. Trolley Dances was my first professional, paid dance experience and because of that experience, I have made new dance contacts, explored different perspectives of viewing dance through site specific work and discovered new communities throughout our city that I wouldn't have been to otherwise.

Increase the visibility of the company and programming to reach a much more diverse audience.
