Filled with amazingly compassionate & selfless individuals. Assisted me after the passing of my first rabbit, outside adoption of another during COVID & an LIRRG adoption of my special girl Jewel. They’re terrific.

They’re an amazing and caring bunch who volunteer to basically have a second job. Every member has an intrinsic desire to participate which makes for one of the most caring and compassionate group of people I’ve ever met. If the world had more LIRRG members, it would be a much more peaceful place.

They're purely volunteer base and I've never met a more dedicated, compassionate & loving group of people in my life. They helped me when my pet rabbit died last year & stayed in contact with me. Unless you've bonded with a bunny, most don't understand that the love, bond, playfulness & amazing personalities are that of a dog so I was devastated after his passing. Just like a dog, he had free reign of the house. Although many use the term free-roaming, my special guy was paralyzed in his hind legs due to abide so it was more like free-dragging & he'd follow me wherever I went. I thought I was alone with this unique bond & love until I reached out to LIRRG to donate his items after he passed & I was lucky enough to be introduced to this group. Rabbits & society as a whole are lucky to have groups like these m!
