My husband and I have volunteered for this wonderful military nonprofit organization for nearly 5-years working with blind veterans over 65-years old.
It gives me joy to see them each time my husband and I pick them up for our weekly kayaking programs. This is truly a unique program because many live secluded lives without much physical activities so they enjoy being around one another and have really bonded.
