I hope you are doing well today and life is treating you respectfully.
I have had the privilege of Volunteering for, and working with the Sempervirens Fund (whom I shall refer to as SFUND) for almost 30 years. I “came on board” to lend my support and experience to aid with the Gazos Creek Campaign along with the wonderful Forest Manager Linda Yule. After the successful completion of that project I decided to continue working with the SFUND in a volunteer capacity.
I found their hope, a clear vision and integrity were particularly important and parallel with my understanding of how necessary their efforts were and still are as California’s oldest Land Trust.
The staff is consistently searching for ways of treating Nature with the respect and dignity it deserves And… they are a delight to work with.
