Review for Big Apple Greeter, New York, NY, USA
Big Apple Greeter is a blessing for multiple cultures and friendships. I have been a volunteer with them for almost 2 years. I can't tell you how delightful their service is. As a volunteer, I get to welcome people from all over the world by giving them a New Yorker's vision of The Big Apple. They get to see a side of New York they never would with tour buses or tourist sites, and in return, I have created wonderful friendships with people from all over the world.
Another fascinating side of this experience is that I have gotten to rediscover my own hometown by seeing it through the eyes of someone visiting for the first time.
Big Apple Greeter has created the foundation for enrichening lives the world over by setting up this wonderful organization, thank you!

feedback on surveys and comments and I always tell tourists I meet randomly that they should apply for a Greeter next time they are in town!

not do a thing other than make sure they have enough funding to continue offering this valuable service!
