CEF's support of the 5th grade science teacher has been incredibly impactful. Students participate in a genuine, hands on, lab science program in elementary school. This program is a perfect transition from the science of wonder and curiosity for our younger students to science of inquiry, experimentation and theorization that engages our older students. It also prepares students for the rigors of lab science that lasts through middle school and on to high school
