When I showed up at the TIUFTT Golf Event I was so impressed with the sheer number of smiling Volunteers who helped get golfers checked in, saw to their needs, answered questions - everything a guest coming to a charity event would want to experience. The site TIUFTT picked, Brackett's Crossing CC, is first class all the way and is an inviting place to be for a fundraiser like this. The opening program the organizers created was moving and a treat to be a part of.

Not having been in the Military, I am always awed when I am around a veteran or in any activity involving them. How do these people decide to sacrifice years of their life, the lifestyle of their family and other supporters, and (some) give the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country? So for someone who gave none, I salute and honor those that give so much. To me, that is what TIUFTT does so well - they offer an opportunity for people like me to experience firsthand the sacrifices made by our service men and women and to give something back.
