My personal ties to Ethiopia and prior volunteer work collecting books for children's libraries, led me to OHBD. I am honored to support their mission to provide literacy and educational opportunities to children and youth in Ethiopia. Literacy and education are crucial in leveling the playing field and building a better world.

OHBD started small and experimented to find the best ways to achieve their goals before scaling up. From providing books in multiple languages for early readers to building Model Programs and Innovation Centers, OHBD is now making a difference in the lives of thousands of young people. I am deeply grateful to support this inspired and well-run organization!
