As a proud cat mama of a once feral kitten bottle fed and nursed by volunteers with Peninsula Humane Society, I can not say enough about their valiant efforts to help lost, stray and abandoned animals find loving homes. I am disabled and adopted my cat as a therapy animal to combat my PTSD. I spoke at a mental health event for Peninsula during Mental Health Awareness month about the healing love of an animal. Due to my limited income they also help me monthly with litter and food donations. This really helps me out. Please consider adopting an animal and giving it a forever home. They bring so much love and sunshine into your life.
