My Nonprofit Reviews

I have been involved with Abrahamic Alliance International (AAi) for the last 3 years as a volunteer in blood drives, hygiene kit assembly, food packing, food distribution, meal preparation and construction of low-income housing. AAi provides the opportunity to participate in two very needed activities in this challenging climate of COVID uncertainty and national turmoil: serve the underprivileged in our communities and build bridges across cultural and religious divides. Through my volunteer opportunities I have made friends outside my faith community, increased my compassion and understanding for the underprivileged, and experienced the joy of working together for the common good. AAi allows for these meaningful interactions to take place while also providing a much needed service to local charitable agencies. What I most appreciate is the safe and nurturing environment for the volunteers that sets aside differences and stresses our common values and convictions. We need more organizations like AAi in our troubled world!
