I learned about Girls Rock! DC from a DJ friend who posted that they needed volunteers. I was so excited to participate and I learned so much about making music. The week-long camp provided opportunities for girls to learn about music, learn to play an instrument, form a band, create a song, and perform - all in 5 days!
