I adopted my 1st DVGRR golden in November of 2001 and have adopted 4 more since. I was initially impressed with organization and became a member and have been until now. I became a volunteer when I moved from NJ to PA 12 years ago. Every person who is employed and who volunteers is fiercely proud of what WE all do for the dogs. Project Home Life was added about 10 years ago,which through the work of the staff, the volunteers and the director of the program works miracles with puppy mill breeder dogs. Dogs the had little understanding of what is to be a dog are socialized and loved until they can be adopted and become a real dog. There is so much more that is done that is magical and wonderful.
