We have known Mickaboo for 15 years. We've attended their excellent classes and adopted birds from them. The birds we adopted were extremely well cared-for and loved when they were being fostered by Mickaboo volunteers, and one of them also received superb, free veterinary care during that time. These birds have been the light of our life and enriched our home in so many ways. The attached photos show their happiness and love, both for us and for each other.

Mickaboo is a 100% volunteer organization. Although they spend countless hours and tens of thousands of dollars every month on their birds (almost all of their budget goes to veterinary care), no member of the organization receives a dime in salary. Since they were founded, they have saved, rescued, fostered, restored to health, and given loving homes to — literally — thousands of companion birds. I have never in my life known a more dedicated or effective volunteer organization, or one more deserving of support.
