Our 14 year old son began volunteering this summer and was welcomed with open arms by the staff. He thoroughly enjoys his time and is also so very appreciated whenever he can come.
We visited the shelter after he came home from volunteering and fell in love with two of the kittens in the care of the shelter. Having come off of a very stressful year, my husband and I are both essential workers, and we lost two pets in five months’ time-we weren’t sure we were ready to open our heart again. Now, we realize we needed our cats as much as they needed us.
The process was amazing, we couldn’t be happier with our new family members ❤️
