I can't say enough about Paws and Think, Inc. I have volunteered for them, served on the Board of Directors and worked for them in the past. When I moved away and became affiliated with another "pet therapy" organization, I learned first hand just how high the standards are at Paws and Think compared to other national organizations. Paws and Think evaluates human-dog teams every two years (international best practices), and they also examine community partnerships to assure everyone's needs can be met. The quality of their volunteers is excellent and the support for volunteers and community partners far exceeds that of other organizations.

Paws & Think is probably the most outstanding organization in the field of Human-Animal Interventions (HAI). They are staffed by outstanding people, highly educated in the field. They support all national and International guidelines by organizations such as SHEA, the AVMA, and IAHAIO. Teams (Dog & Handler) evaluated for therapy work are well trained, evaluated every two years, and are provided continuing education in both HAI and their primary interest field. They were the first to bring Reading Education Assistance Dogs to central Indiana. I can't say enough positive things about the organization and all who serve it. Having volunteered for them was an incredible honor.
