It is hard to leave everything behind. CORA helps families get back on their feet after a rough life. They help women and families with housing,food, clothing and medical help.
They even set up a holiday program so the mothers can buy gifts and needed items for there children to make the holidays a happy time for their family,

I have been donating to CORA for over 8 years in the ADOPT A FAMILY program.
I started out with my own family sponsoring a CORA family for the holidays.
I am fortunate to have a home and felt it was time to give to the community. I picked CORA for all the wonderful ways they help women get back on thier feet after such a hard journey.
Now I have my office involved and we try to sponsor a larger family.
They are such a caring and loving organization.

We had lay offs this year in our organization. I thought that we would have less donations because of this, but I was wrong be went over what we donated last year. My group wanted to reach out and help a family even more this year, because they knew that we all must help each other in this economy.
