My daughter was in first-grade (in Texas) when the first-graders were murdered at Sandy Hook. I remember hearing the news and wanting to help and show support, which led me to supporting this organization since it's beginning. The leaders truly care and believe in their mission and want to turn tragedy into good. They have done so much work and created great programs used in schools (and I have incorporated those programs into my Girl Scout meetings). Such a worthy cause doing something that matters: helping kids learn values as well as working toward insensible gun restrictions. Proud to be a long-time supporter!
