Ronny & Claudia Sweger of the Foundation for Exceptional Warriors (FEW) invited myself and my wife to a veterans couples weekend in Alabama in September 2020. They had selected a great venue on Dauphin Island with three other terrific veteran couples. Unfortunately for us Hurricane Sally decided to crash the event. The Swegers quickly changed venue and found us a safe location in Mobile to ride out the storm. Even though our activities were limited we had a terrific time with the other veteran couples. Not only did the Swegers show their commitment to fellow veterans, but, volunteered their time to the local community with clean up efforts following the storm. The FEW is an outstanding organization as are the Swegers, my many thanks for your support.
