Operation School Bell, the signature program of Assistance League Norman, provides new school clothing to children who attend Norman and Little Axe Public Schools. Operation School Bell promotes consistent attendance which translates into improved grades and success in school. I love to help children pick out new clothing during an Operation School Bell shift. The excitement and joy of the children at the Operation School Bell "store" makes this retired teacher's day shine.
