I have come to understand and support the mission of The Orphan's Tree over the past few years. I am extremely impressed by the compassion and love extended to teens in Russia who have aged out of foster care or orphanages and now must find their place in the world. From what I have seen and learned so far, the staff of the organization and the Russian ministries are the guardian angels and mentors of young people who benefit from instruction, advice, but most importantly, the love that they may have missed in childhood and young adulthood. The interest in the well-being of the young people, even through marriage and family, is extraordinary, on both sides of the world, with relationships that span decades. I believe this is a unique organization and deserving of support.
