I have been volunteering with iACT for the past 4-5 months on their Little Ripples ECD program for refugees. I am so impressed with the fact that EVERY decision the iACT US-based team makes revolves around the question of what would be best/ most empowering for the refugee communities they serve. There are numerous ways, both big (a trip to a refugee camp) and small (helping to edit a blog), that volunteers can engage with their work. I highly recommend iACT as a great organization for people who would like to get involved in supporting refugees worldwide.
