I wanted to volunteer for the GO Campaign because of the mission to provide opportunity, education, and health care to children all over the world. I know that I am lucky to be supported by loving parents in a safe and warm home and go to an amazing school where my teachers and deans support me. However, I know that many children in the world do not even have some of their most basic needs met. I wanted to help change that.

Go Campain has provided me with the opportunity to learn more about how organizations use the funds that they raise to effectuate change in the world. In just a few short months, I have learned that even helping out just a little bit can make a big impact. Go Campaign has taught me that no matter what I do in my life, giving back to my community can continue to be a priority. I have learned how to raise money from peers, run a social media campaign, use my community to bring attention to an important issue, and work with a diverse group of people. I am grateful to be a part of the Go Campaign Youth Advisory Board.
