Sandy Hook Promise has been a phenomenal organization to be a volunteer for. I consider myself still new to the group as I started volunteering a little over six months ago. That being said, t community that makes up Sandy Hook Promise is incredibly welcoming. Everybody I have worked with has been so kind and appreciative of the work their volunteers are doing. Everybody part of Sandy Hook Promise has their own story which is what creates a strong bond among its members. Sandy Hook Promise is also very understanding of its volunteers. I also appreciate how involved Sandy Hook Promise is with children. Sandy Hook Promise has multiple clubs kids and teachers can start in their schools. I believe that involving kids is key to ending gun violence in schools. I can’t say enough good things about Sandy Hook Promise and look forward to volunteering opportunities in the future.
