I've volunteered with Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund for the past seven years. This has allowed me to get to know the students who apply for scholarships and watch their success throughout their educational careers and sometimes beyond. I review applications, conduct interviews, participate in scholarships receptions, provide mentoring, organize personal development opportunities, and assist with fundraising. ASPSF is much more than just a presenter of checks. We really develop relationships with our recipients to provide more than just financial support. Even a pandemic and a cold, blustery day couldn't keep us from celebrating our scholars!
