Losing a loved one to gun violence impacted my life significantly but getting to work with the wonderful people of Sandy Hook Promise who have dedicated thier lives to protecting the lives of others particularly children has helped tremendously. Knowing I am working to help others not experience what I had to endure as a 9 year old girl. As a mother of 4 it is incredibly important to protect vulnerable children and I'm thankful for all the work Sandyhook does for communities across America.
