I adopted my first dog through Royal 3 years ago. They quickly became more like family than a local rescue. I met so many lovely people through their rescue and they continued to keep in touch with me and my dog. Not long after I became a foster failure to a wonderful bunny rabbit. Sadly in January, my dog Monty passed away from an aggressive and rare form of cancer. Royal was there for me every step of the way. They helped me spread the word to raise money to get him treatment. When there was nothing else to be done, they were there for me through his loss. They sent me a beautiful memorial plaque with a photo of Monty. Then when I was ready, they helped me be matched with a puppy who has become my best friend. They even waived the adoption fee in Monty’s honor. The volunteers of this incredible rescue have become like family to me and my animals. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t be where I am today without them and their influence in my life. They are truly heroes ❤️
