My daughter and I began volunteering at Spirit almost 3 months ago. I had volunteered with other Therapeutic Riding programs before, but this place filled in the gaps of other programs. The staff is dedicated, knowledgable, friendly, and willing to share their knowledge. My daughter was hesitant to volunteer initially because she had no prior experience of or knowledge with horses, but everyone has been accepting and friendly. When we go, it feels like we are part of a team.
