Breast Cancer Hub is an amazing organization that I am proud to be a volunteer of. In addition to spreading awareness regarding early detection of all types of cancer in developing countries and minority communities in the U.S., BCH also provides research and volunteering opportunities to high school students, such as myself, to further spread awareness and dispel the taboo regarding cancers, especially in the South Asian community. Dr. Lopa, BCH's head, is my personal inspiration. Her dedication and passion for BCH is incomparable, and her hard work has succeeded in saving many lives and has continued to spread the importance of early detection and regular screenings in both developed and developing countries. BCH is an amazing organization, and I am so glad to attest to the fact that BCH has made a positive impact in my life as well as around the world.
