Eating disorders thrive on shame, fear, and isolation. When God led me to Finding Balance's website and specifically to their Lasting Freedom modules, I was reeling from a recent diagnosis of "severe anorexia nervosa." I needed trustworthy truth to hold on to. Where else can you find that but in God's Word? I love how Finding Balance consistently points me to Christ and to Scripture. My anorexia is not gone, but I live in hope. The video lessons with Christian dieticians, counsellors, pastors, and ED survivors have been hugely instrumental in giving me hope and courage for the journey. They've motivated me to seek out a team of caregivers and to keep on fighting to enjoy the freedom for which Christ has set me free. Thank you, Finding Balance team!
