As a personal tutor for almost 9 years I have witnessed first-hand the impact the Literacy Network has had on not just my student but his entire family. As a father of four, ranging in ages from college to preschool, I have seen how much improving the literacy of my student has improved the lives of his children. Through improved English reading, writing and speaking skills he is better able to communicate with his kids teachers, coaches and principals, with their doctors and dentists, with his clergy, with his bankers, with store clerks, and with his bosses and co-workers. This makes him a more effective parent and provider, and everyone benefits. The learning resources provided by Literacy Network make it all possible. I know how grateful he is - because he's told me so. Many times!
